AENA has installed automated barriers at the bus parking area of César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport, in a change designed to improve the turnover of coaches and minibuses serving the arrivals zone. The barriers are now operational and form part of a wider effort to ease congestion in the area immediately outside Terminal 1, where transfer coaches, tour operator vehicles and excursion buses pick up arriving passengers throughout the day.
