Lanzarote Marathon

Oh Yes Lanzarote is having the Lanzarote International Marathon at Sands Beach Resort, Costa Teguise on Saturday, 29th November 2014 on a bright and sunny day, while the rest of Europe is close to winter and close of sports season.

The marathon will feature four races:

-A 10KM run

-A 21.1KM half marathon

-A 42.2KM full marathon

-A wheelchair race

The race starts at the resort and heads along the coast towards the island’s capital Arrecife and then to Puerto del Carmen. The 10KM run turns halfway from Arrecife, the half marathon ends in Arrecife, and the full marathon goes all the way to Puerto del Carmen and back.

This marathon is well organised, with the core goal of having fun. Runners come from all over the world, from beginners to professional athletes.
