Costa Teguise is the third most popular destinations in Lanzarote after Puerto Del Carmen and Playa Blanca, very close to the capital Arrecife. Costa Teguise means “Coast of Teguise”, where Teguise was the former capital of Lanzarote.

Costa Teguise was built for the main purpose of Tourism, and hence you will notice that this place is well planned, the streets were planned, constructed, and serviced in advance.

Costa Teguise boasts of 4 natural beaches namely Playa de los Charcos, Playa de las Cucharas, Playa del Jablillo and Playa Bastián. There are lots of recreational activities - watersports going on these beaches, especially windsurfing. In fact, you will come across lots of windsurfing schools along the Cucharas Beach and Jablillo Avenue. But if you are not so keen on it, then there is golf course and a water park, to keep you entertained.

For this reason, Costa Teguise plays host to Qualifiers for the PWA Windsurfing World Championship at Cucharas Beach in June, the Costa Music Festival in September, the Brazilian Music Festival in June, and many more such events.

Costa Teguise has a very lively nightlife, with numerous restaurants, pubs and discotheques, offering all kinds of entertainments like Karaoke, live performances, concerts and more, they also offer international cuisines like Italian, Mexican, Greek, Indian, Chinese, Thai apart from the traditional Canarian cuisine, so there is something for everyone.

The weather in Lanzarote in this part of the island is usually windy than other resort towns, but nothing to worry, windsurfers are ones who may find this a little trouble. Other than that, Costa Teguise is an ideal place to be in the winters too, when the winds are calmer and of course sunny, if you fancy a good tan!!!!
