Saturday is race day, with a choice of two distances. The longer 60 km route sets off at 08:00, and the 40 km race starts an hour later at 09:00. Both begin and end on Calle La Concha, next to the THB Tropical Island hotel.
The two courses stay inside the municipality of Yaiza, taking riders along country tracks and across the volcanic ground of the south. Everyone has until 13:30 to cross the finish line.
Friday belongs to the younger riders. Children's mountain bike races, split into age groups, run in the same start and finish area, with number collection from 15:00 and the first race at 16:00. Adult riders pick up their numbers at THB Tropical Island on Friday between 15:00 and 19:00.
Places can be booked at cronolinecanarias.com until Tuesday 3 November, although entries will close sooner if the race fills up.
If you are coming down for the weekend, THB Tropical Island is giving 20% off stays booked with the code Extremo Sur 2026, for stays between 8 October and 10 November.
