Wine Run Lanzarote 2015 and Fine Food Festival

The Wine Run Lanzarote and Food and Wine Festival was started partly to support the project Save La Geria, where the three main industries of Lanzarote, namely Agriculture, Tourism and Culture would help recover and maintain the region.

Revitalization Plan of the Agroecológical Organisation of Geria have made efforts to sustain the landscape, through wine, hiking, recovery of agricultural area and enhancement of traditional paths.

A percentage of the revenue for the 2015 Wine Run Lanzarote inscriptions and sales of merchandise will also be used to fund social projects. It is creating jobs for groups at risk of social exclusion.

This project transcends sport and landscape protection. The Lanzarote WineRun pursues a neat setting and designed by all. La Geria, saved by all and for all.
