The Teguise Market suspended and the road general LZ-402 Famara closed

The municipality of Teguise has decided to suspend the Market in La Villa Teguise on Sunday 23 November for safety reasons due to the amount of rainfall in the last hours and the weather forecast for the next few hours.

Meanwhile, the Consortium Security and Emergency Lanzarote has provisionally closed until Monday, November 24, the main road LZ-402 Famara (up to the mill). It has enabled a detour to access the village of Caleta Famara to be held by way of the beach.

Also Teguise Road to Los Valles are having problems due to the large volume of water that falls from the barrancos. Agents Civil Guard are regulating traffic.

From the Consortium "all drivers are asked to exercise caution in general on all roads and follow the recommendations offered by the Consortium for Security and Emergencies during this pre-alert".
