To celebrate the Malvasia Wine and all those involved in producing it, from the wine growers to the wine makers, the first edition of Malvasia: Lanzarote Wine Week is being held from November 3rd 2015 till 8th November 2015. This week coincidentally, we are celebrating the European Day of Tourism. The Wine Week event is being initiated by the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Wines from Lanzarote.
There will be various activities for everyone to join in, check the program and schedule of the Malvasia: Wine Week of Lanzarote here.
You could also go on the Wine Tasting Tour to the La Geria region by choosing the South Tour run by our partners Excursions Lanzarote, where you can also look at the other attractions of Lanzarote, like the Timanfaya National Park, the Fire Mountains, El Golfo and Los Hervideros.
According to the President of the Regulatory Council, Rafael Morales, "Malvasia seeks to consolidate every year as a new way to show the great efforst made by winegrowers and winemakers of our island for a top-quality wine. There is no doubt that the sector's success goes largely on the support of Lanzarote. To all of them we invite you to participate and enjoy this great wine week ".
