The Drag Queen Gala will now take place on Sunday, 21st February 2016 at 20.00 pm. The format will remain the same and those with tickets will be able to re-use to access the park Santa Catalina, Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.
According to a tweet posted by the organization @lpacarnaval said, "unfortunately the rain fall in the Santa Catalina Park has forced them to postpone #DragLPGC, due to damage of the technical equipment. All entries will again be validated."
Councillor Carnival capital area council, Inmaculada Medina said that "we have been waiting until the last moment and, after speaking with the drags, we put it off until Sunday with the same show. We can not risk anyone's safety" .
