The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts light rains in general in the Canary Islands, more likely and more intense in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and northern half of the other islands in the early hours, with some isolated thunderstorms in the easternmost islands earlier in the day . Temperatures will continue drop, while strong wind will blow from the north at intervals, mainly in the midlands and highlands and in the early hours.
So, there will be downpour of rains and occasional thunderstorm, keeping the temperatures in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura to a minimum of 10°C and maximum of 18°C today. The weather is expected to improve on Monday.
