The AEMET, the Meteorological Department of Spain has issued a yellow alert for Calima (a dust wind coming from Africa) for Tuesday, 1st December 2015 for the Province of Las Palmas, with dust particles level to be between 40% and 70%.
Since the other islands are in close proximity, we can expect some level of wind coming on to Lanzarote also. There is no indication that the situation will remain the same on Wednesday also, the AEMET warning is only for Tuesday as of now.
