The State Agency of Meteorology maintains the yellow alert for high temperatures on the islands of the Canaries.
The weather forecast for Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Gomera, La Palmas and El Hierro islands will have maximum temperatures above 32 degrees and minimum temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees, which is pretty warm for the evenings.
There will be variable wind of 15 to 25 kms/h and by noon around 20-35 kms/h in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Palmas and El Hierro. Whereas, Tenerife and La Gomera will see 25 to 40 kms/h and 45 to 65 kms/h in the evening and could see gusts over 70 kms/h later in the night at high altitudes.
So keep your sunglasses, hats, sunscreens handy especially if you are out on any Day Tours or at the beach for today (5th October) and tomorrow (6th October).
