Teguise and Costa Teguise Carnival Teguise and Costa Teguise Carnival

The Carnival fever is still going on and if you have missed being a part of the carnivals, then this is your chance, at the Costa Teguise arnival 2015, from 6th March till 8th March. The theme for the carnival is The Amazon Rainforest, and it's already popular poster of a mutant anaconda and Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe church in La Villa de Teguise is definately a motivation to be there.

If you are really looking for some fun and excitement then take a look at the programme closely:

6th March, Friday:

16.30 pm : Kids between 3-12 years can have a good time at the Carnival workshop at the Civic Centre. (Fragata Street, Costa Teguise)

20.30 pm : Avenida Islas Canarias in front of the Pueblo Marinero square will hold a musical gala with Murgas (musical groups) participating like Bentchey, Menuda Caña, Merekumbé, Cumbacheros, Ladys Golosinas, Ensalitrados and Diabletes.

22.30 pm : The popular orchestra Grupo Swing will make sure you dance all night in open air on their foot tapping music, at Avenida Islas Canarias in front of the Pueblo Marinero.

7th March, Saturday:

11.00 am : Kids will thoroughly enjoy the participation of children’s street band at the Children's party on Avenida Islas Canarias in front of the Pueblo Marinero Square.

12:00 pm : Participate and enjoy the Carnival Race and if you have kids, they can run along with you. If not you could also participate in other activities held at the same time at Apartments Santa Rosa, Costa Teguise.

18:00 pm : The Grand Carnival Parade will take place from Sands Beach Hotel reaching the intersection of Avenida del Jablillo, All along Avenida Islas Canarias. Have a go at the Zumba exhibition presented by “Opción a la Mareta” at the end of the parade.

22:00 pm - 04:00 am : Party away at the Carnival Parade festival and open air dance with the orchestras Rika Band and Lágrimas Negras at Avenida Islas Canarias in front of the Pueblo Marinero Square.

Sunday 8th March

11:00 am : The Carnival Parade continues through the main streets of the Sunday market in Teguise, a good time to also go on a shopping spree while you are at it !!!

12:30 pm : Enjoy watching the Fancy dress competition for pets at the municipal market in Teguise. For more information go to www.teguise.es
