Lanzarote is a beautiful island, with a few hidden secrets which makes coming to the island even more exciting and adventurous. We have listed a few of the things you may not have heard of about Lanzarote:
Ghost Island:
Did you know what the first foreigners who landed in Lanzarote say? "it's a Ghost Town", why because apart from the 2-3 scattered houses, all there was to the island was volcanic rocks and an eerie feel to it.... which is pretty scary when you think about it, way back !!!!
Ghost Town
Ghost Town is also a reef in the north of Lanzarote, very famous with experienced surfers. The name comes from the fact that the surf waves are deadly and powerful and hence very few surfers go there.
Ghost Ship
Ghost Ship or The Ship Wreck called Telamon, is an abandoned ship on the shore between Arrecife and Costa Teguise. It was built in 1954 in London. Investigations done by some very brave adventurers about possibility of it being haunted was .... well disappointing....there is no paranormal activity seen on it, but they were there for just 2 hours, which is not enough to come to the conclusion.... so that means it could be actually haunted!!! .... but we can only see it from far, why? because it is rusted and not maintained and may be it is haunted!!!
Ghost House
The sound of a Ghost House could remind you of creaking doors, owls hooting, dark corridors, spider webs everywhere, footsteps coming your way and other strange sounds !!!! well it seems there is a house like this which was owned by Severino Bethencourt Ramírez a long time ago.....many previous owners including foreigners had bought and later sold the house because of a paranormal presence.
Are you scared enough? If yes then why not enjoy this horror week to the fullest on the scary Halloween Night at Rancho Texas. Book in advance, as places fill quickly.
