Latest increase is of 3.78% of tourists every year coming to the Island.
Last month in June alone there were less than 200000 tourists who visited the island.
The largest increase of tourists in June 2015 was from Ireland, 10.1%, followed by British with 4.8% increase and Germans with 4% increase.
The increase in number of tourists not only shows, how attractive Lanzarote is as a summer destination, but also holds the potential to attract the same number of tourists or more in the winter season.
To gear up for the winter tourist demand, EasyJet recently announced a new route, from London Southend to Lanzarote. EasyJet will fly twice a week throughout winter from Southend to Lanzarote, starting from November 6th.
