The hotter of the two days is Sunday, when inland spots and the south-eastern coast could reach 35 degrees, and possibly 37 in the odd place. Saturday's warning covers the hours between 11am and 8pm, with highs around 34 and the interior feeling it most.
The peak has actually been scaled back from the first forecasts, which had suggested San Bartolomé might hit 39 degrees. Even revised down, the weekend will be a hot one.
