The most awaited parade of the Carnival in Puerto de Carmen 2015 will be held on Saturday, 21st February 2015. For the carnival fun, more than 60 groups and floats have registered to participate at the Gran Coso along Avenida de Las Playas.

Excursions Lanzarote

The Department of Festivities of the City of Tias jointly with the Department of Tourism have lots of activities scheduled where fun is guaranteed. According to Councilman Festivities of the City of Tias, Francisco Javier Aparicio Betancort, participants in costumes will perform lively sport and dance.

Thursday, 19th February:

19:30 pm: The fun starts with the first edition of Zumba Party Carnival of Tiñosa. (Tinosa is Puerto del Carmen old town and pier)

20:30 pm: A show in the Plaza de El Varadero, along with the three winners of the Murgas Contest in the capital of Lanzarote.

Friday, 20th February:

20:30 pm: The Carnival Gala performances by Comparsa Sur Caliente, La Batucada Chimbay, la Charanga Los Gruñones and las coreografías de la Escuela de Danza Fide Parrilla. And at night great festival.

Saturday, 21st February:

17:00 pm: More than 60 groups, floats, bands, batucadas and bands will participate in the colorful parade along Avenida de las Playas that starts near the Hotel San Antonio.

Sunday, 22nd February: Last day of Carnival

11:00 am: Children's carnival and Carnival Day. For children and families tons of actions and activities, with free admission.

12:00 pm: The square of El Varadero in La Tiñosa, will be filled with lots of people, with performances by Los Lolas, Pepe Benavente, Rafael Flores El Morocho and Lanzarote Swing.

The Department of Festivities of the City of Tias will close the program, a special children's parade will take place, in addition to the presentation of the Magical Forest will take place, keeping the Carnival's theme of "the Enchanted Forest".

So put on your best costume and make sure you have a fun time from Thursday till Sunday.
