Lanzarote has duty free shopping, that means you can save quite a bit on what ever you buy. We have a Lanzarote shopping guide with a list of places to shop in Lanzarote:
1. Flea Markets: The Teguise Sunday Market and the Playa Blanca Market are a popular destination for tourists to buy souvenirs, some really good local handicrafts,wine, cheese, sauces, a good place to bargain as well.
2. Biosfera Plaza: Biosfera Shopping Mall in Puerto Del Carmen is a little mall with designer shops. Here you will find the usual designer wear shops selling men's and women's clothes and shoes, jewelry, makeup, accessories and more like Zara, Mango, Timberland, Natura, Oysho and more. Sometimes they also have sales and discounts which can make your shopping experience even more happier!!! But please check the prices back home before you come to the island to buy. Below are a list of places you could enjoy shopping, not in any particular order.
3. Marina Rubicon: Good place to shop for street full of designer label clothing in Marina Rubicon, Playa Blanca.
4. LanzaroteON Recommended Shops: Mint is a good shop for Designer wear. Santos Jewellery is good for jewellery shopping. Charlies Perfume has good prices for perfumes and cosmetics. 4.Puerto Del Carmen Promenade: If you are particularly looking to buy Alcohol, Cigarette, Perfumes then you will find loads of shops selling them all over Puerto Del Carmen. Just make sure you have enough allowance on the flight to carry them back home. It is much cheaper than buying in the airport. You can shop for electronic good here, but beware of counterfeit ones too.
5. Arrecife Airport: If you did not manage to shop at all on the island and would still like to take home souvenirs, alcohol, cigarettes, perfumes and more, then it is convenient to shop at the airport. Mind you the prices could be higher when compared to the island shops.
6. Playa Honda: You can find some good shops in Playa Honda Mall for clothes etc.
There are lots of shops in Lanzarote, if you have time then you can do some window shopping and browse around and see where you could get the best deals.
