A German Movie Being Shot In Lanzarote

The German film, “Un verano en Lanzarote” translated "A Summer in Lanzarote," is being shot very much in Lanzarote .... like the title of the movie says. The movie is being produced by public television channel ZDF.

This Monday the movie was shot in the town of Caleta de Famara as a backdrop. Some scenes taken were in the bar Sol and in the Rociega Street, the area was closed on Sunday for residents to let the shoot vehicles roll in.

The mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort reported that the shooting of the German film will go on in the city until September 30th, so there will be various closure of streets.

Apart from Caleta de Famara, the movie will be shot in the town of Teguise on 26th, 28th and September 29th from 8 am until 9 pm. The crew will also set up "camp" in the Plaza de La Mareta.

This is all so exciting!!!! unlike "In The Heart Of The Sea", "Un verano en Lanzarote" is a romantic movie, and guess what they have also hired 200 extras of different ages from Lanzarote.

According to Lanzarote37.net, the film will also feature locations from the Melia Salinas Hotel - Adults Recommended in Costa Teguise, El Golfo, Uga, the Mirador del Rio, Jameos del Agua, the Cave of the Greens and the Timanfaya National Park.
