There are lots of things to do with kids in Lanzarote apart from the entertainment hotels in Lanzarote have for kids. Kids love adventures and Lanzarote has very unique ones which are fun and also educative, lets check them out:
Volcano Adventures
Volcano adventures are best experienced on the Short South Tour, since it is 'short' it is not boring, since we know kids are not much into tours and that is why this is the most popular for families with kids. The tour takes you and your kids to the volcanoes where you can enjoy demonstration shows: Food BBQ over a heated volcanic crater and boiling water gushing out from the volcano into the air ........... did we hear a WOW? Yes, any kid would love this. Then you head to El Golfo where you enjoy a visual treat of the bright green emerald lake, where your kids could also dig up semi-precious Olivina stones, if you don't find the stones, that's alright, you can still buy them for as little as €1. Get yourself and kid on a camel for just €12 for two people.
Atlantic Adventures
Your kids will be truly excited going on the half day Atlantic Adventure tour, when you set sail from Playa Blanca to go to Papagayo Bay on board a glass bottomed boat, with three decks, the top for the sun, the middle is shaded and the lower deck with submarine viewing windows, from where kids can be busy looking out for flying fish. The tour then becomes even more adventurous, with activities like Snorkeling, Kayaking, large inflatable bouncy mats and even a banana boat ride. If you are not up for this, then you could alternatively go to the white beach in small boats for some beach fun. We are sure by this time your kids would be damn hungry and so the lunch is served on board with chicken wings, chips, salad and nuggets for the kids.
Animal Adventures
Kids love animals, and Rancho Texas Animal Park is one such place where your kids would not only enjoy watching the reptilarium (reptiles), white tigers, crocs and lots of birds, but also be part of all the exclusive shows like a whip and lasso show, a bird of prey show, a parrot show and a cheeky sea lion show. Rancho Texas is not only an animal park but also a water park, with a huge swimming area for both adults and kids and two water slides cascading from the mountains, kids will have a blast!!! (don't forget to take their swim suits for this).
Underwater Adventures
Underwater adventures lets you go underwater without getting wet, because you go on a submarine, which is 1 of the 15 commercial submarines in the world. Kids have to be over 3 years for this. The submarine dives 30m below the Atlantic ocean, passing two ship wrecks and waters teeming with hundreds of fish, kids would particularly love it when they see a diver feed the fishes and when they spot Wannita, the resident stingray, usually in time for dinner!!!!
Wild West Adventures
Kids can experience the wild west right here in Lanzarote, you will be pleased to see your kids smile when they are taken inside the venue on a horse cart. Once inside, enjoy all exclusive drinks from beer, sangria and soft drinks, while you enjoy the various shows by cowboys, indians, can can girls and line dancers. All this entertainment will leave your stomach rumbling for food and that is when you smell the delicious BBQ finger-licking ribs, chicken, salad potatoes and all the sauces, served for dinner, what more? kids can enjoy their own menu too. After dinner, kids get to have pony rides and you could try your hand at line dancing or the bucking broncho bull (if you dare). Crazy Karting Adventures
Karting is a fun sport and when you go kart in Lanzarote on two of the best Gran Prix Circuits, don't be surprised when your kids want to do it again and again!!! There are special karts for kids, adults and families. If you are not the karting type, then you can also chill out at their bars sipping on a drink and snacking.
