Staying fit when on your holiday is equally important and the best way to do that is keep your exercise regime on.

Excursions Lanzarote

Health and fitness is a lifestyle and you daily practice it, even when you are on your holiday to Lanzarote or anywhere else. You may have been on a diet and exercised to get that perfect curves, getting yourself ready for the holidays in the Canaries, but there is no reason why you must not continue this healthy regime whilst on your hols.

According to Gemma Cartwright, a Fitness Instructor in Lanzarote, the best way is to venture out, try new things, discover the area by foot or bike. You can cycle all the way along the sea front or trek the volcanic landscape to view the incredible scenery. You can hire a bike for as little as 5 euros for 2 hours or hire a surf board or book a stand up and paddle session. An early morning run or walk along the beautiful beaches of Lanzarote or Fuerteventura is a great way to stay active whilst soaking up the sunshine. Short but regular quality exercise sessions create lasting changes, you don't need to spend hours in the gym.

Gemma has pre-holiday classes too and also holds regular classes in the mornings and evenings at Lanzarote Fitness, where you can take part in various fitness regimes when in Lanzarote from Metafit, Insanity, PiYo (Beachbody), TRX, Strength and core sessions, depending on what regime suits you.

Finally listen to your body, rest, eat healthy and recharge yourselves. There are many fantastic restaurants, so eating healthy in Lanzarote is an easy option, avoid anything fried since there are lots of fresh fish options.

Have a happy healthy holiday!!!!
