XXIII Travesía a Nado El Río XXIII Travesía a Nado El Río

If you are in Lanzarote this Saturday, October 3rd, then this is your chance to do something different, like, watching the 'XXIII Travesía a Nado El Río or Swim crossing the River' and even go across to La Graciosa yourself.

Excursions Lanzarote

While you stroll on the beach or take a sun bath, at the beach pier of El Risco (Famara), the XXIII Swim Crossing the River will start from 12:30 pm. It is a good way to see how the 700 odd participants will cover the 2,600 meters distance to finish the swim race at the dock of Caleta de Sebo, a small fishing village in the island of La Graciosa.

However the race schedules depend on the tidal conditions which the Deportes Insular Cabildo of Lanzarote will inform the same on Saturday, the day of the race in La Graciosa, so do checkout the latest information on www.lanzarotedeportes.com. The award ceremony will also take place at Caleta de Sebo at 15.00 pm. The participants will be treated to a very special Paella lunch soon after the race completion and performances by musical groups 'Treintaytantos' and 'Bourbon' from 9:00 pm.

Wow!! the participants will be swimming to La Graciosa, you can also swim along ... oops we mean sail on a day trip to La Graciosa on a boat from Orzola and visit the beautiful village of Caleta de Sebo, have a scrumptious Paella lunch, kayak or snorkel at the Francesa Beach and much much more, on a leisure trip to La Graciosa, all taken care of by our partners Excursions Lanzarote. On the day excursion to Discover La Graciosa you will enjoy your own personal time at the Francesa beach, white and unspoilt for the day is definitely worth it!

You could after all go back home and tell your friends and family about your unique holiday where you got to enjoy two islands, Lanzarote and La Graciosa !!!!, but make sure you book in advance, since places get filled quickly
