Today, 28th November is celebrated as Innocent's Day in Spain, to make today light hearted and bring a smile to fans of Lanzarote, two leading tourist companies posted their New Year 2016 new ventures.
First, Conocer Lanzarote, posted a picture on their Facebook page, taken by Miguel Cabrera of the Timanfaya National Park with a Reindeer in it. Their Facebook post said that "the authorities of the Timanfaya National Park, have requested the cooperation of citizens of Lanzarote to find the owner of this sweet animal. Since 24th December 2015, the owner of the Reindeer is missing. Watchers of the Fire Mountains could argue that the Reindeer fell off a sled while traveling from the North Pole looking for sun and heat!!!!!!" Of course Santa also needs a break from a really tiring night of giving away presents around the world.
Lineas Martimas Romero, the ferry company also came up with something equally hilarious. Their Facebook post had a picture of a new Submarine to be launched called "Submarine Adventure" in the New Year 2016 to operate in the Chinijo Archipelago! The message also said that "Like Jules Verne's, the late French author's 1870's novel '20000 Leagues Under The Sea', Lineas Martimas Romero will bring the deep seabed to everyone who wishes to embark on this new underwater adventure. Very soon you may travel to an unexplored world, where you see marine species from another planet living in a stunning underwater scenery. We take you to the bottom of the ocean and you will feel like the character in the novel!!!!" Wish we could simply get transported to a different era.
