Born as David Robert Jones on 8 January 1947 in South London, David Bowie had a keen interest in music from his early years. He formed his first band "the Konrads" at the age of 15. But David later split from the band and started to sing solo, with his shares of struggles, but came out a winner.

He had a phenomenal personality, a musician, actor, singer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and painter adored by millions of fans for four decades. He never shied away from experimenting with music, and that is why he has left us with masterpieces like hit singles Space Oddity, Starman, Fame, Ashes to Ashes and also albums like The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, Young Americans, the Berlin Trilogy albums, and his latest released album Blackstar on 8th January 2016, just two days prior to his death.

His albums have bagged lots of certifications in the UK and the US. A True Icon who influenced many generations with his music. We will miss you David Bowie....but your music will live forever!!!!
