Haria Carnival 2015 will take place from 26th to 28th February, with the theme 'Tribe of Africa'. The poster design for the carnival have been undertaken by Northern artist Jaime Romero.
Like previous years, the north of the island will see very good turnout of crowd and participants. Over a weekend, the celebration of the Carnival of Haria will see floats, costumes, humor and lots and lots of fun.
PROGRAM CARNIVAL
Thursday, February 26
-17: 30h Carnival Party of the Seniors in the Centre of Socio Cultural of La Tegala of Haria. A bus will pass through the villages, starting at 16: 30h., To pick up older people who have already enrolled in the Seniors Center.
-19: 30h.- Inauguration of the photography exhibition "Design Carnival" by Jaime Romero in the showroom "The Cistern" Haria.
Friday, February 27
-09: 30h.- Coso Carnival / alumni / aces of CEIP San Juan of Haria, from the school to the Plaza of Haria.
-10: 15h.- Coso Carnival / alumni / aces of CEIP La Garita of Arrieta through the streets of the town.
-17: 30h.- Children's Party will see performance by School of Latin Dance "El Norte Dance", clowns and costume parade in the Centre Cultural La Tegala of Haria.
-22:00h Grand Festival Carnavalero starring Manny Manuel, Danny Romero, the Combo Dominicano, Güira America and Suso and Family in the Plaza of Haria.
Saturday February 28
-12: 30h.- Murgas will perform and music by the Dj Maxi Ferrer will enthrall the audience in the solar annex at the Plaza of Haria site. Attendees can enjoy tapas at 1 €.
-18: 00h.- Grand Carnival Parade with floats, bands, batucadas, parades and a large number of masqueraders from the parking lots of the cemetery to the Plaza of Haria.
-21: 30h.- "Zumba Fitness Concert Carnival" with Fernando Petit and Oliver Martin accompanied by musicians of "Rikabanda" in the Plaza of Haria.
-22: 30h.- Grand popular verbana with the orchestra "Suso and Family" of Lanzarote and the "Güira Latina" group of Gran Canaria of the Plaza of Haria. At the same time performance of D'js Furre and Juanjos in the solar annex of the Plaza site.
