Playa Blanca means "White Beach", and so are it's beaches.
Playa Blanca is a little more sophisticated place, with a Yacht Marina and lots of cafes. This is where you can also take a ferry to Fuerteventura.
La Flamenca is a restaurant specializing in Spanish and Mediterranean food in Faro Park, Playa Blanca, in a quiet residential area.
In their menu you can find fresh fish and meats as desired or some tapas and great paella with a wine from Lanzarote. Do try the mixed fish platter with Canarian potatoes, cooked to perfection. You can especially enjoy the Iberian sausages and sea bass. You could also enjoy lthe salmon in lemon sauce.
They also have takeaway service, with special paella served with traditional bread. So a popular place with the locals, since it's tucked away from the hustle and bustle, it is less touristy.
