Get to the Golden Corner for some nice breakfast and great smoothies and also enjoy professionally made alcoholic cocktails in the evenings. Golden Corner is one of the renowned cocktail bars on the main strip, serving food from breakfast till late nights with nice decor to compliment the location. It is situated next to the casino in Avenida de Las Playas, Puerto del Carmen if you fancy a flutter afterwards.
The breakfasts are to die for and are an excellent value for money. For that grand English breakfast just shell out 2.50 euros to fill your tummy with sausage, bacon, eggs, beans, chips, toast, tea/coffee and juice, now that is good value! Lovely ice cream sundaes and milkshakes too will keep you coming back for more.
In the evening, Grab a seat and try those cocktails for €7 approx, in large glasses, company of mixed age groups, lovely place to have an evening drink and watch the world go by as the sparkler in your drink fizzles away with a lovely ambience in the backdrop. Nice place for pre-dinner drinks too. Great cocktails, especially the 'exotico', the 'strawberry daiquiri', the 'black russians', the 'mudslide', the 'gin fizz', 'piña colada' and the 'baileys'.
Free wifi ( which works!) will help you tweet and post some memorable pictures of this place on FB. It certainly has a happening cocktail bar, with an excellent live singer, definitely livens up your night! a good change from the usual 'lack of life' ambience in some of the other bars.
