Emma's Cantina is a restaurant and you only have to read Tripadvisor reviews of this place. It is very popular with a 36 seating facility, in the picturesque main street of the original fishing village of Puerto del Carmen with parking outside or in the recently renovated fishing port one street below.
The quesadillas are a huge portion so can be shared. The prawn chimichanga, Estofado de Canero, a lamb stew were delicious. The Enchiladas are equally good. The food can be as spicy (or not) as you like. The fajitas are amazing - Beef or chicken and so are the ribs.
The chocolate tequila was just yummmmmm. Always start with a jug of frozen lemon margaritas goes well with rest of the food. Desserts are a dream - you could opt for the fruit soaked in red wine with yoghurt, simply lovely.
Open from 6pm each night, closed on Wednesdays. They have a dress code to enter this restaurant. It has true mexican food cooked by a mexican!!! Excellent service and food to die for.
