Museo Jose Saramago or Jose Saramago Home-Museum first opened on 18th March 2011. Jose Saramago was a Nobel Prize winner in Literature in 1998.

The museum was his house, so one can notice beautiful paintings in the entrance hall by famous Portuguese and Spanish artists. The study room has family photos and the Nobel Prize as his memories. Visitors can buy souvenirs or Jose Saramago books in the museum shop.
