Get to know the avaition history of the Island at the Aviation Museum
Museo Aeronáutico de Lanzarote is the original airport operated between 1946 to 1970. It is situated in the grounds of the current airport, now known as Terminal 2.
Visitors can get to know the early years of aviation on the Canary Islands. One can also know about the aviation history of the Island like the first seaplanes which landed in Lanzarote as early as 1919. You can also view the control tower, old machinery and have a panoramic view of Terminals 1 & 2. If you are a book worm then you can sit and browse the collection of best aviation books in their library.
