Playa Blanca means "White Beach", and so are it's beaches.
Playa Blanca is a little more sophisticated place, with a Yacht Marina and lots of cafes. This is where you can also take a ferry to Fuerteventura.
Playa Mujeres comes between the Del Pozo beach and Playas de las Coloradas Beach in the south of the island and is well used by naturists. In the protected natural park of Los Ajaches, one can access the Playa Mujeres beach with a small fee of 3 euros per car.
The beach has fine white sand and is one of the top visited beaches of Lanzarote. However, this beach does not have any facilities like sunbeds or umbrellas.
