Caleta de Famara is a small fishing village renowned for it's world famous surfing San Juan beach.

Also, this beach is known for the many celebrities who have visited it, the recent visitors being David Cameron and family. Pedro Almodovar and Penelope Cruz, filmed parts of his film 'Los Abrazos Rotos' at this beach.
