Get lost in the beauty of Lagomar museum like Omar Sharif

Lagomar is a beautiful museum, an art gallery, bar and restaurant with rich history. It is situated in the hillside of Nazaret and was first opened for public in 1997.

History:

The property was constructed by a British property developer Sam Benady as a show home for property purchasers in the area of Nazaret. It was later bought by Hollywood actor Omar Sharif, but Sam Benady challenged the actor over a game of bridge, and the actor lost as he didn't know that the Briton was also the European Bridge champion. The actor owned the house for just a day and so the house is popularly known as "Casa Omar Sharif".

Attractions:

The house boasts of magnificent views from different levels and photos of the house during construction. There are lots of little pathways leading through the gardens into tunnels like a water tunnel with stepping stones, caves, up and down stairways.

Visiting:

Entry to the museum and attraction is 5 € for adults and 2 € for children. Open from Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 – 18:00 hrs.
