The Tinajo Farmers Market and Artisan opened on Sunday July 30, 2006.
The U-shaped market is made up of nine stalls organized according to 9 stalls of agricultural products, 2 livestock stalls, 2 fish products stalls and 2 pastry crafts shops.
In it the various traditional sectors of the municipality of Tinajo are displayed. There are also folk performances by different bands. There are exhibitions of traditional items like specimens of young donkeys born in the town, and one can also sample vintage grape and tafeña (toasted millet ), preparation of gofio, etc.
